1. Car Aircon not cold enough:
There's nothing more frustrating than your car's aircon struggling to keep you and your family cool during a hot Brisbane afternoon. Even with the thermostat turned to its coldest setting, you may find nothing but lukewarm air flowing from your vents. If you're experiencing unsatisfactory cool air, there's a chance your Freon may be leaking, or worse, a failed or damaged condenser or evaporator. Other causes may include failed blower motors, failed compressors or failed compressor clutches.
2. Smelly odour coming from air-conditioning vents:
If you've switched on your car aircon only to have your car cabin smell like a smelly pair of unwashed socks from last fortnight's rugby game, you may need to have your car aircon serviced. This odorous inconvenience may be brought about by dirty or old cabin air filters, or a moldy evaporator case.
3. Weak airflow from car air-conditioner:
It's important to have your car's air conditioner looked at quickly after you notice any weakening in airflow. Moldy residue may have built up within your car's evaporator core, your ventilation fan may be unresponsive, or seals and hoses in the A/C system may have loosened. Prevent further damage by contacting your mobile mechanic today.
If you're experiencing any of these common car air-conditioning issues, or any other mechanical failures, contact the team from Stouch Auto and Mechanical on 1300 568 603. Whether you're based in Goodna or South Brisbane, we can help service your car on-site whilst you work, rest or play.
